Wedding Cake Consultations
*When you are preparing for your wedding cake consultation,
please call or email with the following information:
Date, time & location of wedding
Number of people attending wedding reception
Pictures or samples of your wedding colors & cake ideas
Type of cake / decorations (fondant, buttercream, detail work, etc.)
Wedding Cake Prices will be provided at your wedding cake consultation after you have submitted your wedding information either by phone or email, prior to your appointment. I will be able to provide you with a couple of wedding cake options with prices when you come for your wedding cake consultation appointment. Also, we will discuss in detail, your ideas & vision for your special day.
Wedding Cake samples can be available at your consultation and need to be ordered at least two weeks before your appointment. Each sample you order is a 5-inch round cake, made with your choice of cake flavor and filling. We charge a small fee for each cake sampled; fee payment required at the time of your wedding consultation appointment.
If you decide to order your Wedding Cake from Jillicious Desserts, we will subtract your sample cake fee from the total price of your Wedding Cake. A Wedding Cake order must be a 2-tier stacked or larger cake for the sample fee to be subtracted from the total price of the Wedding Cake. (This offer does NOT apply to cupcakes, mini dessert platters, cookies, cheesecakes, cakes, sheet cakes or any other wedding dessert orders from the Jillicious Desserts menu.)
Wedding Cake Sample Pricing
$18.00 - (1) 5-inch sample cake
$30.00 - (2) 5-inch sample cakes
$40.00 - (3) 5-inch sample cakes
*You will be able to take the remaining portion of your cake sample
with you: the prices include the entire cake.
Wedding Date Availability
When booking your Wedding Cake, earlier is best. Wedding dates fill up months in advance, especially during popular times of the year, such as summer and early fall. Your wedding date will be secured after you have paid a non-refundable deposit and signed your Wedding Cake contract.
Because a typical Wedding Cake consists of two or more tiers, it will need to be delivered and set up on-site. Jillicious Desserts delivers all Wedding Cakes to the location and sets them up on-site in order to guarantee that your cake is completed as you ordered it. For this reason Wedding Cakes cannot be ordered and picked up the day before, as we cannot guarantee the complete safety, security and design of the cake.
Wedding Cake orders may be booked for wedding dates on any of Jillicious Desserts six business days; which are Mondays through Saturdays. Because Jillicious Desserts is always closed on Sundays, Wedding Cake deliveries & set-ups are not available on any Sunday--no exceptions.
